This is a study focusing on Prokofiev's introverted Piano Sonatas (Nos. 4, 5, and 9). The rest of his Piano Sonatas, the other group of extroverted ones (Nos. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8) follows a classically established and traditional style of sonata, while the former group displays romantically varied styles. Unlike his primary image as a magician of technical and flamboyant percussive language, his introverted Sonatas contain expressions of lyrical, beautiful, and colorful hues, as well as lots of experimental and successful challenges toward the sonata form. Admist the atonal background, the occasional tonal familiarity and harmonic stability appears as the sunlight permeating through a large pine forest, also resembles the warm, comforting snow that occasionally visits during a cold winter. Therefore, they capture a mysterious ironic atmosphere and, above all, embrace dualistic quality, which could perhaps resonate the most humanistic music. His introspective voice is akin to alleviating meditation and contemplation, possessing the power to retrospect our life and to have us view it with a warm point of view. This presentation is designed to enlighten and brighten the significance of his unique musical aesthetic.

Inchoon Art Hall Multi-purpose halls that can be used for various purposes
The Inchoon Art Hall, which was completed on August 28, 2020, is a multi-purpose hall space located on the first basement floor of the music hall. It can be operated with a total of 100 seats, including 91 fixed seats and 7 mobile seats. In addition, Inchoon Art Hall has not only solo concerts, small concerts, but also video screenings, press conferences, competitions, etc. It can be used for various purposes.

Note for receiving a ticket
