Jaekyung Lim Composition Recital
at the upper-right of the page.
The artistic direction pursued by Jaekyung Lim is rooted in a strong respect for musical fundamentals, upon which new ideas and approaches are integrated. The emergence of the new is inseparable from the accumulation of artistic achievements passed down through previous generations. Grounded in the artistic heritage accumulated throughout history, his work spans a wide range of genres and instrumental settings—including opera, orchestral music, electroacoustic music, and chamber music—employing diverse compositional techniques.
Above all, his creative practice prioritizes accessibility, aiming to allow a broad audience to engage with and approach the shared heritage of music.
