The performance, characterized by its focus on the most British classical music, brings together internationally renowned violinist Soojin Han, representing Korea, and Orchestra The Original, composed of musicians who have built their careers in top European orchestras. Soojin Han, who immigrated to the UK at a young age and established an international career based in London, is highlighted for her understanding of the unique musical characteristics of British composers. She will perform V. William's "The Lark Ascending" and Max Richter's "Recomposed: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons", "The Lark Ascending" is particularly familiar to the public, as it was used as the background music for figure skater Yuna Kim's free program at the 2007 World Figure Skating Championships.
The program also includes compositions influenced by Edward Elgar, a familiar composer to Korean audiences, with Eric Coates' works, who played a pivotal role in the revival of British light music. Eric Coates' renowned composition, "London Suite," symbolizes London and gained popularity in the mid-20th century, featured in various national events, including the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. The piece reflects the characteristics of British light music, showcasing sophisticated melodies and grand orchestrations within a simple structure. Just as the serenades of classical composers like Mozart and romantic operettas from the German-speaking countries appealed to the popular taste of their time, Eric Coates' music has been cherished by the British public since the mid-20th century.
promises to be a unique performance that sheds light on "British Classics," which, unlike the more recognized classical traditions of Germany, Italy, and France, may not have received as much attention. With Soojin Han's interpretation of British emotion and culture, deeply rooted in her upbringing in the UK, the concert is expected to deliver freshness and a different dimension of emotion to the audience.

Conductor Adriel Kim's pursuit of genre-expanding classical repertoire, combined with Orchestra The Original's commitment to presenting diverse musical experiences in Korea, adds an exciting element to the expectations surrounding this performance.
