Spain, leaves his shop every week to maintain the city's clocks, his wife,
Concepción, attempts to enjoy secret trysts with her lovers. However, on this
particular day, things get complicated as multiple men show up at the same
time. Concepción tries to manage the situation by hiding each man inside large
clocks and moving them around, but in the end, it is the sturdy muleteer,
Ramiro, who resolves everything and approaches her with sincerity. Ultimately,
Concepción chooses the reliable Ramiro over her bothersome suitors, and the
story concludes on a delightful note.
