21세기의 음악은 무엇일까요? 인터넷으로 지구 반대편의 음악을 곧바로 접할 수 있는 이 시대를 말하기는 쉽지 않을 겁니다. 오히려 이렇게 낯설고 다양한 음악을 듣는다는 것은 우리 시대의 특별한 즐거움이기도 하죠! 2026년 현대음악앙상블‘소리’는 제26회 정기연주회에서 이렇게 세계 곳곳에서 탄생한 최근의 소리를 듣는 기쁨을 나누려 합니다. 뉴욕에서 ‘뱅온어캔’을 이끌며 현대음악과 대중의 접점을 성공적으로 일군 퓰리처상 수상자 데이빗 랭의 달콤한 음악, 클래식과 팝을 넘나들며 드라마 '파친코' OST를 만든 니코 뮬리의 활기찬 움직임, 시카고 심포니 상임작곡가 출신으로 DJ를 겸엄하고 있는 메이슨 베이츠의 생기 넘치는 새들의 지저귐, 스페인 북부 바스크 지역에서 현대음악의 지평을 넓히고 있는 에르코레카와 라스카노의 음색-리듬의 향연 등 큰 명성을 얻고 있지만 뜻밖에 접하지 못한 음악을 소개합니다. 이와 함께 K-사운드를 연구하시는 영남대 명예교수이신 작곡가 진규영 선생님의 작품으로 세계 속에 어우러지는 우리 시대의 한국을 경험하는 특별한 즐거움을 나눕니다. 오늘을 사는 당신을 위한 시간, 당신을 위한 자리가 여기 있습니다.

현대음악앙상블‘소리’ SORI
현대음악앙상블‘소리’는 2001년 11월 12일 故박창원 음악감독을 중심으로 첫 연주회를 개최한 한국 최초의 현대음악 전문 연주단체(고문 : 작곡가 나인용)로, 현재 첼리스트 이숙정(현 대표)을 비롯한 국내 최고 수준의 연주자들이 상임 단원으로 활동하고 있다. ‘소리’는 신인부터 원로에 이르기까지 국내외의 여러 작곡가들에게 작품을 위촉하고 뛰어난 현대음악 작품을 아시아 혹은 한국 초연하는 등 새로운 작품들을 소개하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 또한 최근에는 영화음악, 어린이 음악, 재즈, 탱고 등도 우리시대의 음악으로 다루며 접근성 높은 레퍼토리를 선보이고 있다. 이러한 흥미로운 프로그램으로 매년 정기연주회와 기획음악회, 초청음악회 등 다양한 국내 무대에서 현대음악의 즐거움을 전하고 있으며, 10년간 Trilogy 시리즈와 각 3년에 걸친 음악극 프로젝트 ‘연화가(演話歌)’와 21세기 한국의 젊은 작곡가들의 작품을 다룬 ‘동방신곡(東方新曲)’ 프로젝트를 개최하였고, 유럽의 여러 음악제에도 참가하며 세계적인 현대음악 앙상블로서 활동영역을 넓혀가고 있다.

The opening of the 2 stories, 600 seats Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall in 2011, a space created exclusively for chamber music, has provided a nesting place for chamber music within the domestic classical music scene. Every breath of the performers resonates to every seat in the house as if one was seated right next to the stage. We luxury of experiencing such vividness of emotions is what characterizes the Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
