PROFILE
Violist 홍수경
비올리스트 홍수경은 서울대학교 음악대학에 전체 수석으로 입학 및 졸업한 후, 미국 보스턴의 New England Conservatory에서 석사 학위를, 뉴욕 Manhattan School of Music에서 Professional Studies Certificate 과정을 전액 장학생으로 마치며 연주자로서의 기반을 다졌다. 그녀는 졸업과 동시에 스위스 Rolle에 위치한 International Menuhin Music Academy에 스카우트되어, 세계적인 바이올리니스트이자 지휘자인 Maxim Vengerov의 지휘 아래 Kamerata Menuhin의 수석 비올리스트로서 활동하며, 유럽 무대에서 촉망받는 연주자로 주목을 받았다.
일찍이 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition(영국 Isle of Man) 특별상, 국민일보 콩쿠르 현악부문 1위 및 특상, 세계일보 콩쿠르 2위 등을 수상하며 국내외 유수의 콩쿠르에서 두각을 나타냈다. 또한, Lillian Fuchs Competition 1위, Ruth Widder String Quartet Competition 1위 등 다수의 실내악 콩쿠르 수상 경력을 통해 앙상블 연주에서도 탁월한 기량을 인정받았다.
금호아트홀 영아티스트 콘서트와 유중 아트센터 라이징스타 독주회를 열었고, Summit New York Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Asian Youth Orchestra, 저스트 비바체 페스티벌, 통영 국제 음악제 등 세계무대에서 활동하며 폭넓은 무대 경험과 깊이 있는 음악성을 쌓아 왔다. 또한, 스위스 Gstaad의 Menuhin Festival, 이탈리아 Pietrasanta의 Concerto Festival, 오스트리아 Lockenhaus Festival에서 상주 아티스트로 초청받아 활약하며, 국제적으로 촉망받는 젊은 비올리스트로 자리매김했다.
Samuel Rhodes, Martha Katz, 강윤지, 최은식, 강주이 등 세계 정상급 연주자들에게 사사받으며 탄탄한 음악적 역량을 다졌고, Maxim Vengerov, Kim Kashkashian, Yuri Bashmet, Thomas Riebl, Wing Ho, Peter Winograd, Cynthia Phelps, Cathy Basrak 등 국제적인 거장들로부터 마스터클래스를 통해 배움을 받으며, 음악에 대한 새로운 시각과 예술적 영감을 받아 연주자로서 한 단계 도약하였다.
충남대학교 강사와 국립심포니 콘서트 오케스트라의 수석 비올리스트를 역임한 뒤, 현재 제주대학교와 선화예중·선화예고·계원예고에서 후학을 양성하고 있다. Global Artist Society 소속 비올리스트이자 아르스 트리오의 멤버로서 활발한 연주 활동을 펼치고 있으며, 제주 프라임 필하모닉 오케스트라의 수석 비올리스트로 재직하며 폭넓고 다양한 무대에서 두각을 나타내고 있다. 앞으로도 다양한 무대에서 관객과 진정성 있게 교감할 예정이다.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
