PROFILE
Violinist 조윤정
화려한 테크닉과 타고난 음악성을 겸비한 바이올리니스트 조윤정은 일찍이 아홉 살에 서울시립교향악단과 협연무대를 가지며 음악계에 데뷔했다. 한국일보 콩쿠르 대상, 조선일보 콩쿠르 1위, 이화경향 콩쿠르 1위를 비롯해 국내외 주요 콩쿠르에서 입상하며 일찍부터 음악적 재능을 인정받았다.
한국예술종합학교 예비학교를 1기생으로 재학한 그는 예원학교를 수석으로 입학했으며, 이듬해 Dorothy DeLay 교수에게 발탁되어 The Juilliard School 예비학교에 입학했다. 이후 Dorothy DeLay 장학생으로 줄리어드 음대 학사(BM)및 석사(MM)과정을 졸업했다.
베를린 필하모니홀, 뉴욕 카네기홀, 링컨센터 등 세계 주요 무대에서 독주회를 가졌으며, 미주와 유럽의 여러 도시에서 오케스트라와 협연했다. Yehudi Menuhin, Irving M. Klein, Tibor Varga 등 국제 콩쿠르에서 상위 입상했으며, Itzhak Perlman, Cho-Liang Lin, Igor Ozim, Antje Weithaas 등 세계적인 음악가들의 마스터클래스를 통해 음악적 깊이를 더했다.
귀국 후에는 KBS신인음악콩쿠르에서 대상을 수상하며 KBS교향악단과의 지방순회공연을 성황리에 마쳤고 서울대학교 박사과정에 입학하여 그의 학업을 이어갔다. 박사학위 논문 ‘바로크 현악곡의 해석과 연주 - J. S. Bach의 무반주 바이올린 소나타 푸가악장을 중심으로'를 통하여 연주와 해석의 밀접한 관계를 학문적으로 정리하였고 2012년에 서울대학교 현악과 최초로 박사학위를 취득했다.
바흐 무반주 바이올린 소나타와 파르티타 전곡을 연주하며 박사학위 논문의 연장선상에서 끊임없는 연구를 추구하였으며, 베토벤 바이올린 소나타 전곡 또한 완주하며 고전주의 음악의 기본과 전개를 심도 있게 구사했다. 최근에는 슈베르트의 듀오, 론도, 판타지를 조명한 「Greetings from Schubert」와 생상스의 작품으로 구성한 독주회를 통해, 시대와 작곡가에 따른 다양한 음악적 언어와 표현을 깊이 있게 탐구해왔다. 이번 리사이틀에서는 이자이를 중심으로 생상스, 쇼송, 프랑크의 작품을 함께 조명하며, 19세기 말 프랑스·벨기에 음악계의 음악적 교류와 그 안에서 이자이가 남긴 특별한 흔적을 음악으로 풀어낸다.
Dorothy Delay, Donald Weilerstein, 강효, 조영미, 故배익환, 故김남윤, 김영욱 교수를 사사한 그녀는 현재 코리안챔버오케스트라의 일원으로 유럽과 미주, 아시아 등지에서 다양한 연주 활동을 하고 있다.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
