“Encountering Russian Romanticism and Melodies through the Deep Resonance of Strings”
Renowned for its creative programming and profound interpretations that have consistently garnered critical acclaim, Ensemble S is proud to present its 11th Annual Concert on September 4th.
Since its founding in 2021, Ensemble S has steadily expanded its musical horizons through a series of regular concerts and invitational performances. For this upcoming stage, the ensemble will showcase string chamber masterpieces by three legendary 19th-century Russian composers: Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Tchaikovsky. From a string quartet to string sextets, this program highlights how the texture and harmonic richness deepen as more instruments are added, guiding the audience on a journey filled with Russian romanticism.
Composed of top-tier musicians who have built stellar careers both at home and abroad—actively performing as soloists, orchestral principals, and dedicated educators—Ensemble S promises to deliver an unforgettable late summer evening of deep emotion through their seamless coordination and dense, high-caliber playing.
