원민지
7세 태국국군왕실 초청 협연으로 데뷔한 첼리스트 원민지는 9세 서울시향 협연 이후 불가리아 국립 방송교향악단, 부천시향 협연
등을 통해 일찍이 솔리스트로서의 입지를 다졌다. 예원학교 수석 입학을 거쳐 미국 뉴져지의 중학교에서
미대통령상(President G. Bush’s
Award, 2008) 수상 및 졸업한 그녀는 16세 연세대학교 음악대학
최연소 입학 이후 프라이부르크 국립음대 학사과정을 만점으로 졸업하였고, 줄리아드 음대 석사과정을 마쳤으며
콜번 음대 최고연주자과정(Artist Diploma) 수학 후 귀국하여 한양대학교 음악연주학박사 학위
취득 및 박사학위 우수논문상을 수상했다.
스트라드, 음악춘추, 이화경향, 음악저널, 해외파견, CBS 음악콩쿠르 등 국내 유수의 콩쿠르에서 모두 1위 및 대상을
수상하였고, The International Johannes Brahms Competition (Pörtschach/Wörthersee,
Austria) 입상 및 심사위원특별상,
"Napolinova" World Cello E-Competition, Danubia Talents International
Competition 외 다수의 국제콩쿠르에서 모두 1위를 입상했을 뿐만 아니라 최근 한국음악협회
대전광역시지부로부터 2024 올해의 젊은음악가상 수상, 제주국제실내악콩쿠르
전체대상을 수상하며 다방면으로 그 실력을 입증했다.
금호영재콘서트, 독일의 바트뒤르하임(Bad-Dürrheim) 도시 초청 리사이틀 외 스승인 첼리스트 쟝 기헨 퀘라스(Jean-Guihen Queyras)와 함께 벨기에 엔트워프(Antwerp)로
초청되어 연주하였고, 예술의전당 귀국독주회, 대전문화재단
차세대artiStar 후원 리사이틀을 개최하였으며, 2024년에는
독주 첼로의 진가를 보여주었던 예술의전당 무반주 첼로 독주회와 국내 처음으로 프랑스 출신 현대작곡가 앙리 뒤티외(Henri
Dutilleux)의 첼로 작품들을 연주하고 소개하는 렉쳐리사이틀로 큰 호응을 받았다. 또한
대전국제음악제, 김선욱 음악감독의 2023 스프링페스티벌
‘브람스아벤트’
외
안종도 음악감독과 함께 2024 ‘바흐아벤트’,
그리고
박종화 음악감독이 이끄는 2025 시그니처 대전 아벤트 시리즈 ‘나이트 오브 빅뱅’을 통해 인상적인 호흡을 보여주었고, 2025 제주국제실내악페스티벌, 오픈 스테이지 인 헤레디움, 2024 장한나의 대전그랜드페스티벌 ‘Be
yourself’
및 2025 ‘불멸의사랑‘ 등 다양한 무대를 통해 관객을 만나는 동시에 최근 중국으로
초청되어 산시성 교향악단과 성공적인 데뷔 무대를 가졌다. 특히 지난
2025년 8월에는 첼로의 성서로 일컬어지는 바흐 무반주 첼로 모음곡 전곡 시리즈의 첫
번째 리사이틀에서 전석매진을 기록하며 성황리에 공연을 마무리지었고, 시리즈의 두 번째 리사이틀을 통해
바흐 모음곡 전곡을 완성한다. 앞으로 그녀가 새롭게 펼쳐나갈 다양한 시리즈의 레퍼토리 여정 역시 많은
기대를 모으고 있다.
활발한 활동을 통해 자신의 확고한 음악을 펼치고 있는 첼리스트 원민지는 대전예술의전당
음악영재아카데미 첼로 실기 강사를 역임하였고, 현재 한양대학교 음악대학 겸임교수, 한세대학교 음악학과, 예원, 서울예고에
출강 중이다.

The 2 stories 354 seats Recital Hall is the perfect venue for recitals that demand crystal clear sounds to resonate. It finished undergoing renovation in 2005 and has since been widely loved for showcasing debut and farewell stages, charming chamber music ensembles as well as experimental music.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
