Seocho Hanuri Orchestra, the first professional orchestra in Korea composed of musicians with developmental disabilities, proudly presents its 4th Regular Concert, Cinema & Opera: Melodies Beyond Time.
This special concert will feature collaborations with soloists from the Korea National Opera and showcase beloved film scores alongside renowned operatic masterpieces through the rich and expressive sound of a full orchestra. The program includes familiar favorites from Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, and Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as timeless operatic classics such as Nessun Dorma and Libiamo ne’ lieti calici. Through this diverse repertoire, the orchestra aims to deliver both artistic depth and broad audience appeal.
Blending the familiarity of cinematic music with the grandeur of opera, this performance will offer audiences a moving and memorable experience through the sincerity, artistry, and musical excellence of Seocho Hanuri Orchestra at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall.

Seocho Hanuri Orchestra is Korea’s first professional orchestra composed of musicians with developmental disabilities. Recognized for its high artistic standards, refined ensemble, and accomplished performances, the orchestra has established itself as one of the nation’s leading disability arts organizations. Through performances at major venues including the Seoul Arts Center, National Theater of Korea, the Blue House, and Myeong-dong Cathedral, the orchestra continues to inspire audiences with its musical excellence and artistic integrity.

The Concert Hall is the first of its kind built exclusively for concerts in Korea. The horseshoe shaped hall with 2,505 seats and three stories is acclaimed for its ideal acoustics by numerous artists who have a performance here.
Remodeled and renovated in 2005,Concert Hall demonstrates its superb sound in every concert.

All performances, except for children-specific ones, are suitable for elementary school students and older. If proof of age cannot be provided, entry will not be permitted regardless of ticket possession or accompaniment by a guardian. (Excluding performances aimed at children.)
We encourage travel by public transport because you may not be able to enter the venue before the performance start time due to parking lot congestion.
