Conductor of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and Turku Philharmonic Orchestra,
and Principal Guest Conductor of Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra
Ottawa, John Storgårds has a dual career as a conductor and violin virtuoso and
is widely recognised for his creative flair for programming as well as his
rousing yet refined performances. As Artistic Director of the Lapland Chamber
Orchestra, Storgårds earns global critical acclaim for the ensemble’s
adventurous performances and award-winning recordings, celebrating his 30th
anniversary in the post in 2026. Most recently, Storgårds was announced as
Music Director of the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and Principal Conductor
and Artistic Adviser of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, with both positions
commencing from the 2026/27 season.

Recent highlights include her debuts at the BBC
Proms with the BBC Philharmonic and at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles
Philharmonic. She toured with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and Paavo Järvi,
and made debuts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Pittsburgh
Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España, Deutsche
Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
Born in South Korea, Bomsori studied at Seoul
National University with Young Uck Kim and at The Juilliard School with Sylvia
Rosenberg and Ronald Copes. She performs on the 1725 Guarnerius del Gesù violin
“ex-Moller”, generously loaned by The Samsung Foundation of Culture and The
Stradivari Society of Chicago.

BBC Philharmonic
One of the most celebrated
broadcast ensembles in the world, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra’s distinctive
energy, lightning speed, and iconic musical character has moved and inspired
audiences for over 100 years. Founded in 1922 as the 2ZY Orchestra, the
Philharmonic has played an essential part in shaping the Greater Manchester
region into an unmissable cultural destination and a hub for world-class talent
in orchestral music.
Outside of the Philharmonic Studio,
their broadcast home at MediaCityUK, the orchestra presents a flagship series
at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall as well as live concerts recorded in venues
across the country, at the BBC Proms, and on tour. Whether encountered in the
concert hall, heard on the air, seen on television, or streamed on BBC Sounds
and iPlayer, the work of the orchestra is enjoyed by millions of listeners

The Concert Hall is the first of its kind built exclusively for concerts in Korea. The horseshoe shaped hall with 2,505 seats and three stories is acclaimed for its ideal acoustics by numerous artists who have a performance here.
Remodeled and renovated in 2005,Concert Hall demonstrates its superb sound in every concert.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
- The Box Office is very crowded when an event is about to begin. We strongly recommend collecting your ticket at least 30 minutes before the performance starts.
