PROFILE
Flutist 박현정
플루티스트 박현정은 예원, 서울예술고등학교를 졸업하고, 서울대학교 음악대학교 기악과 재학 중 도미하여 줄리아드 음악원을 거쳐 독일 뮌헨 국립음대(학부, 최우수 졸업), 뉴 잉글랜드 콘서바토리(석사 및 GD, NEC 장학금 수혜자), 보스턴대학(박사, 수잔 맥도널드 장학금 수혜자)을 졸업하였다.
서울예고 시절 제31회 동아콩쿨에서 당대회 최연소로 입상하였고, 또한 미국 플루트 협회 콩쿠르(NFA)에서도 2위 입상하여 어릴 때부터 국내외적으로 인정 받기 시작하였다. 그 후 유학시절에 이탈리아 부키국제음악콩쿨, 보스턴 파펏사커스 플루트 콩쿨, NEC 콘체르토 콩쿨에 1위 입상하며 독주자로서의 입지를 굳혀 나가며, 코리안심포니, KBS교향악단, 대전시향, 부다페스트 챔버, NEC 심포니 오케스트라등과 협연하였다. 더불어 유학시절 미국 마이클 틸슨 토마스의 New World Symphony Orchestra(마이애미), Pro Arte Chamber(보스턴)의 객원단원을 역임하였다. 독주자로 카네기 웨일홀, 조던홀, 보스턴플루트 컨벤션, 오사카 이즈미홀, 금호아트홀 금요독주회, 세종문화회관 유망연주자시리즈 등에 초청받았다. 실내악 주자로 NEC 조던홀에서 고음악전문가 존 기본스와 바흐의 트리오 소나타 전곡 연주, NEC현대음악앙상블과 함께 필립 글래스 음악 등의 음반 작업에 참여하는 등 다양한 음악활동을 경험하였다.
2008년 귀국독주회 이후 매우 다양한 활동을 하고 있는 그녀는 독주자로서 매년 독주회를 기획하며 새로운 레퍼토리 발굴과 바른 플루트 연주법 연구에 매진하고 있으며, 오케스트라 연주자로서 꾸준히 충북도립향, 부산시향, 성남시향, 원주시향, 경기도립향, 충남도립향 등에 객원 수석으로 초청 받고 있다. 앙상블 또는 독주 연주자로 뉴욕썸머페스티벌교수음악회, 합포만현대음악축제, 박창수하우스콘서트, 대전스프링페스티벌, 대전여름실내악페스티벌, 이탈리아 알바 뮤직페스티벌, 몬테네그로 다니무지케, 뉴욕 쿠퍼스타운 뮤직페스티벌, 2020라율아트센터 살롱콘서트, 2020대구플루트뮤직페스티벌 등에서 초청독주회 및 실내악연주를 하였고, 협연자로서 불가리아 플로프디프 시립향 정기연주회, 이태리 롯시니 페스티벌, KCO 트로이카 정기연주회, 대전시향, 천안시향 정기연주회, 플루트 교육자 협회 정기연주회 등에 초청받았다. 더불어 2016년에는 Flute Concertos(Reinecke, Mozart Concerto in D) 음반(Fidelio 레이블)이 발매되었고, 2024년 여름에는 미국 텍사스주에서 열린 NFA 학회에 초대되어 한국 작곡가의 작품을 초연하며 주목을 받기도 했다.
교육자로서 서울대학교, 연세대학교, 숙명여자대학교, 충남대학교, 목원대학교, 총신대학교, 추계예술대학교 등 강사를 역임하며 후진양성에 힘썼으며, 2015년부터 2023년까지 KCO코리안챔버오케스트라(구,서울바로크합주단) 수석단원으로 활동하였다.
현재 세종대학교 및 예원, 서울예고를 출강하고 있다.

Inchoon Art Hall Multi-purpose halls that can be used for various purposes
The Inchoon Art Hall, which was completed on August 28, 2020, is a multi-purpose hall space located on the first basement floor of the music hall. It can be operated with a total of 100 seats, including 91 fixed seats and 7 mobile seats. In addition, Inchoon Art Hall has not only solo concerts, small concerts, but also video screenings, press conferences, competitions, etc. It can be used for various purposes.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
