PROFILE
Pianist 서지수
피아니스트 서지수는 금호영아티스트로 선발되어 금호문화재단이 후원하는 독주회로 데뷔한 이래, 서울대학교 발전기금 연주회, 세라믹팔레스홀 영아티스트 데뷔 콘서트 초청 독주회 등 다양한 무대에서 연주하며 주목을 받아왔다. 2012년 예술의전당 아티스트 오디션에 선발되어 리사이틀홀에서 아티스트 시리즈 독주회를 개최했고, 본 공연 실황은 KBS 클래식 FM을 통해 방송되었다.
국제 무대에서도 두각을 나타내며 Seattle 국제 콩쿠르에서 스카를랏티 특별 연주상을 수상했고, Scotland International Piano Academy 콩쿠르 1위 입상 후 Glasgow Royal Conservatoire 초청 독주회를 가졌다. 또한 New York Bradshaw & Buono 국제 콩쿠르 1위 입상자로 선정되어 뉴욕 카네기홀(Weill Recital Hall)에서 연주했으며, Virginia Waring 국제 콩쿠르 세미 파이널리스트로서 시적인 감성과 폭발적인 에너지가 어우러진 연주로 현지 청중의 호평을 받았다. 이후 Rancho Mirage Library 초청으로 세 차례 독주회를 가졌다.
통영국제음악제를 비롯해 Vienna Musik Kurs, New York New Paltz Piano Summer, Scotland International Piano Academy, Prague International Piano Summer, Atlantic Music Festival 등에 참가해 연주했고, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Boris Berman, Vladimir Feltzman, Vladimir Viardo, 변화경, Malcolm Bilson, Martino Tirimo 등 세계적인 연주자 및 교수진의 마스터클래스에 참여하며 음악적 깊이를 더했다.
예원학교, 서울예술고등학교를 거쳐 서울대학교 음악대학 피아노과에 정시 수석 입학, 우등 졸업한 서지수는 미국 Eastman School of Music에서 피아노 연주 및 문헌 (Piano Performance and Literature) 전공으로 석사(M.M.) 및 박사(D.M.A.) 학위를 취득했다.
재학 중 Barry Snyder 교수를 사사하며 Teaching Assistant 및 Accompanying Graduate Assistant로 활동했다.
귀국 후 금호아트홀, 예술의전당 IBK챔버홀과 리사이틀홀, 일신홀, Eastman Hatch Recital Hall 등에서 꾸준히 독주회를 이어오고 있으며, 'All that Fantasy', 'Chopin', '슈베르트, 어루만지다', 'Variation', 'Today's Special Menu', 'Back to Basics', 'Greatest Romance', 'Baroque Effect 시리즈'
국내에서 장형준, 김금희, 이화영 교수를 사사했으며, 전남대학교, 성신여자대학교, 국민대학교, 충남대학교 강사 및 수원대학교 객원교수로 재직하며 피아노 실기를 비롯해 피아노문헌, 서양음악사, 피아노 연주법 및 교수법 등 다양한 전공 과목을 지도하며 후학 양성에 힘써왔다.
현재 한국예술영재교육원, 예술의전당 음악영재아카데미, 예원학교, 서울예술고등학교, 계원예술학교에 출강 중이며, 네이버 블로그 <피아노 서지수>를 통해 음악영재교육에 관한 활발한 기고 활동을 이어가고 있다.

The opening of the 2 stories, 600 seats Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall in 2011, a space created exclusively for chamber music, has provided a nesting place for chamber music within the domestic classical music scene. Every breath of the performers resonates to every seat in the house as if one was seated right next to the stage. We luxury of experiencing such vividness of emotions is what characterizes the Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall.

Note for receiving a ticket

If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
