Violinist 조윤정
화려한 테크닉과 타고난 음악성을 겸비한 바이올리니스트 조윤정은 일찍이 아홉 살에 서울시립교향악단과 협연무대를 가지며 음악계에 데뷔했다. 한국일보 콩쿠르 대상을 비롯, 조선일보 콩쿠르 1위, 이화경향 콩쿠르 1위를 차지하며 많은 주목을 받았다.
한국예술종합학교 예비학교를 1기생으로 재학한 그는 예원학교를 수석으로 입학, 이듬해 줄리어드 도로시 딜레이 교수에게 발탁되어 줄리어드 음대 예비학교에 입학했다. 이후 줄리어드 학교에서 학사(Bachelor of Music)와 석사(Master of Music)과정을 도로시 딜레이 장학생으로 졸업했다.
독일 베를린 필하모니홀, 뉴욕 카네기홀, 뉴욕 링컨 센터 등에서의 독주회를 포함, 미주와 유럽 다수의 도시에서 독주회와 오케스트라와의 협연을 가졌으며 Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition, Irving M. Klein International String Competition, Tibor Varga International Violin Competition 등 다양한 국제 콩쿠르에서 상위 입상하며 연주가로서의 입지를 굳혔다. 또한 Itzhak Perlman, Cho-Liang Lin, Igor Ozim, Antje Weithaas 등 세계 정상급 음악가들과의 마스터 클래스를 통해 그녀의 음악적 견문을 넓혔고 연주 기량을 다져왔다.
귀국 후에는 KBS신인음악콩쿠르에서 대상을 수상하며 KBS교향악단과의 지방순회공연을 성황리에 마쳤고 서울대학교 박사과정에 입학하여 그의 학업을 이어나갔다. 박사학위 논문 ‘바로크 현악곡의 해석과 연주 – J. S. Bach의 무반주 바이올린 소나타 푸가악장을 중심으로’를 통하여 연주와 해석의 밀접한 관계를 학문적으로 정리하였고 2012년에 서울대학교 현악과 최초로 박사학위를 취득했다. 바흐 무반주 바이올린 소나타와 파르티타 전곡을 연주하며 박사학위 논문의 연장선상에서 끊임없는 연구를 추구하였으며, 베토벤 바이올린 소나타 전곡 또한 완주하며 고전주의 음악의 기본과 전개를 심도 있게 구사했다. 최근에는 "Greetings from Schubert" 라는 주제로 슈베르트의 듀오, 론도, 판타지를 연주하며 그의 아름답고 서정적인 선율로 음악적 깊이를 더했다. 또한 “쉼표”의 부제로 리사이틀 프로그램에서는 쉽게 접할 수 없는 전곡 Virtuosic Pieces를 구성하여 코로나 팬데믹 시대의 지쳐있는 객석에 활기와 재미를 불어넣었다. 이번 봄, 로맨틱의 정수를 보여줄 생상스의 작품들을 선보이며 새로운 그녀의 음악 세계를 준비하고 있다.
Dorothy Delay, Donald Weilerstein, 강효, 조영미, 배익환, 김남윤, 김영욱 교수를 사사한 그녀는 현재 코리안챔버오케스트라의 일원으로 유럽과 미주, 아시아 등지에서 다양한 연주 활동을 하고 있다.

The 2 stories 354 seats Recital Hall is the perfect venue for recitals that demand crystal clear sounds to resonate. It finished undergoing renovation in 2005 and has since been widely loved for showcasing debut and farewell stages, charming chamber music ensembles as well as experimental music.

Note for receiving a ticket
