INVITATION
The scorching heat that makes your shirt drenched in sweat and even your heart melts is the norm. I don't have the energy to write a single note without a glass of iced Americano, but even the heat can't help composers' quest for sound. We inform you that the second concert of the 2023 Korea Chamber Music Composition Festival will be held in the upcoming season of Ipchu.
The works performed at the 2023 Korea Chamber Music Festival are recommended works that received attention from concerts hosted by various affiliated organizations of the Korean Composers Association in 2022. The Korean Chamber Music Composition Festival has a great meaning in that it is a concert where you can gather and appreciate these diverse and high-quality works in one place and view the present of Korean creative music.
A composition festival seminar is also held right before the concert to give students an in-depth understanding of the works of the concert.
It will be a meaningful occasion where the composer and musicologist who will present the work on the day will comment on the work. In addition to analysis and commentary, there is also time for direct Q&A with the composer. Through concerts and seminars, we hope you will have a good time to communicate with Korean creative music composers, looking forward to the hot present and bright future of our composition world.

The 2 stories 354 seats Recital Hall is the perfect venue for recitals that demand crystal clear sounds to resonate. It finished undergoing renovation in 2005 and has since been widely loved for showcasing debut and farewell stages, charming chamber music ensembles as well as experimental music.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
- The Box Office is very crowded when an event is about to begin. We strongly recommend collecting your ticket at least 30 minutes before the performance starts.
