Flutist 배종선
플루티스트 배종선은 이화여자대학교 음악대학의 특기자 장학생으로 입학하였으며, 졸업 후 동대학원에서 석사학위를 마친 후 미국으로 유학하였다. 뉴욕 메네스음대(The Mannes College of Music/ 석사학위)를 거쳐 뉴욕주립대학(State University of New York at Stony Brook)에서 연주박사학위(DMA)를 취득, 일찍이 플루티스트로서의 입지를 굳혔다. 그는 그동안 월간음악 콩쿠르 입상을 비롯하여 이화 경향 콩쿠르 2등, 한국음악협회 콩쿠르 1등 등으로 국내에서의 신선한 바람을 일으켰으며 뉴욕 Artists International Presentation 콩쿠르에서의 입상으로 음악적 성장을 더욱 도모하며 연주자로서의 폭넓은 경험과 지식을 확장하여 왔다.
조선일보 주최 신인음악회, 금호아트홀 초청 금요 연주회, 바탕골 연주 시리즈 독주회, 서울음악제 연주, 국제 교류음악제 2001 연주, 이화여자대학교 협주곡의 밤 및 관악앙상블 연주, 서울올림픽 영 뮤지션콘서트, 서울졸리스텐 신진 연주회, 이화작곡가회 작품 발표회, 투 플루트 리사이틀(김기순 교수), 플루트 콰르텟 연주, 이화쳄버 오케스트라 실내악 연주회, 뉴욕 메네스음대 실내악 콘서트 및 독주회, 뉴욕 Staller Center 독주회, 뉴욕 CAMI홀(N.Y)에서의 독주회를 성공적으로 개최하였으며, 미국 롱아일랜드 유스오케스트라, 이화쳄버 오케스트라, 체코 하라데 크라로베 심포니와의 협연(프라하 드보르작홀) 등 다양하면서도 많은 연주활동을 해왔으며 현재도 숨 가쁜 일정의 연속을 보내고 있다.
또한 인디애나대학의 AUER Hall 독주회를 비롯하여 독일 Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Trossingen의 독주회, 캐나다 밴프(Banff) 뮤직 페스티벌에서의 연주, 미국 보드윈 뮤직 페스티벌에서 연주 및 Teaching Assistant 활동, 미국 파크시티(Park City, Utah) 뮤직 페스티벌 연주와 스위스 시온(Sion) 뮤직 페스티벌 연주등을 통해 국내외의 다양한 음악연주 활동을 진행해온 플륫티스트 배종선은 현재 이화여자대학교 음악대학 교수로 재직 중이며, 현대음악앙상블 ‘소리’ 멤버로도 활동 중이다.

The 2 stories 354 seats Recital Hall is the perfect venue for recitals that demand crystal clear sounds to resonate. It finished undergoing renovation in 2005 and has since been widely loved for showcasing debut and farewell stages, charming chamber music ensembles as well as experimental music.

Note for receiving a ticket
- Customers who have benefited from discounts (e.g. discount coupons and membership discounts, special discounts for the disabled, national merits, SAC Teens, noble members, students, seniors and last-minute tickets) must be able to present proof of eligibility when collecting discounted tickets. If a customer fails to present such certification, he or she must pay for the full ticket price to enter the venue.
