Korean National Symphony Orchestra
Formerly known as the Korean Symphony Orchestra, the Korean National Symphony Orchestra was established in 1985 as the first private orchestra in the nation. In 2001, the orchestra was designated as an affiliated organization by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, establishing itself as the prominent theater orchestra, embracing orchestral music, ballet and opera under its belt. With the wide array of repertoire and independent musical core, the orchestra seeks to transition into a new platform for the musicians of the next generation be renewing itself as the Korean National Symphony Orchestra in 2022, and to undertake its responsibility in the history of symphonic music in Korea.

The opening of the 2 stories, 600 seats IBKChamber Hall in 2011, a space created exclusively for chamber music, has provided a nesting place for chamber music within the domestic classical music scene. Every breath of the performers resonates to every seat in the house as if one was seated right next to the stage. We luxury of experiencing such vividness of emotions is what characterizes the IBK Chamber Hall.

All performances, except for children-specific ones, are suitable for elementary school students and older. If proof of age cannot be provided, entry will not be permitted regardless of ticket possession or accompaniment by a guardian. (Excluding performances aimed at children.)
We encourage travel by public transport because you may not be able to enter the venue before the performance start time due to parking lot congestion.
