Unbo Kim Ki-chang Art exhibition
The exhibition was of great significance in providing the opportunity in which all of the works, diverse and massive, by Unbo Kim Ki-chang, who is the representative and the master of the recent and modern fine art of Korea, were collected in one place and his world of art was reviewed and evaluated again. Through this, the past, the present and the future of Korean paintings could be examined.
The exhibition was for showing the art world of Unbo, who has, for sixty years, continued to try new expression and new methods, attaining marvelous varieties. Audiences can feel the great soul of the artist who devoted his life to art. Unbo can express profound depth with just one touch of the brush.
The exhibition, from 1993.10.13 to 10.30, consists of the three parts: From the late 1930s to 1950s; From the early 1960s to the early 1970s; From the middle 1970s up to now. Works exhibited are as follows: The early works of A beauty, Yebkui (Autumn) picturing the persons and customs before 1945; The animals, the mountains, the rivers drawn by a hair pencil; The 30 pieces of the sacred painting illustrating the life of Jesus Christ: The realism oriented works done during the Korean Civil war; The abstract paintings of the early 1960s; The illustration made from 1950s to the late 1970s, Chugnrok sansu, Babo sansu, Sibjangsaeng, Babohyajo; The character picture; The series of the dotted line.

KIMSOU Art Exhibition
The exhibition was projected to integrate and show the excellent artistic worlds of Kim Heongsu and the transition of them throughout the long era from the period of early naturalism (1940-55), the period of Paris employing the abstract expression (1956-61), the first period of a return home seeking the internationality of the Korean beauty with the peculiar formative composition, the period of stay in America trying abstract expressionism (1968-76), and the period of the origination of "Harmonism" (since 1977), which is the essence of his art world, up to the present.
From 1994.05.27 to 06.14, the unique world of the artist who adopted the principle of Oriental philosophy, Eum (the negative) and Yang (the positive) was exhibited. Displayed were 103 pieces of oil painting from the early, the middle and the latter period, 71 pieces of the drawing, 2 pieces of printed painting, and 1 piece of stained glass.
The artistic world of Kim Heongsu, who created Eum Yang formativism, is characterized by the painting way of expressing in one picture both women with the image of Yang and abstraction of Eum interspersed by small dots. Concreteness and abstraction are exquisitely combined in one picture, expressing Formativism (Harmonism).
Hosting the exhibition, Seoul Art Center tried to arrange and illuminate the 70 years of the artistic world of Kim Heoungsu who originated the unique artistic style of painting and made a great contribution to the formation and development of Korea's modern fine art. The significance of the exhibition is in locating him in the appropriate place among the history of Korea's modern fine art as well as providing the opportunity for the public to appreciate the fine art culture and bringing aid to popularity of the fine art.

Po Kim Art Exhibition
The exhibition was planned to put a concentration on the artistic world of Kim Pyo-hyeon who established the unique position in modern fine art with the purpose of serving improvement of the future fine art of Korea.
He made up the formative imagination and uniqueness of composing the picture by illustrating clearly various fruits and vegetables in everyday life as philosophy prove ontology.
The collection of the whole works of the artist who occupied his life with fine art can give the opportunity to appreciate the entire artistic world, not just some parts of it, and also arrange the huge accomplishment of Korea's modern fine art that has been built by the creative artists.
The exhibition, held from 1995.9.29 to 10.20, has a great significance in that literature of the modern fine art had lost was to be found in the exhibition and the solitary inner world of human beings which were sought out, offers the distinct way to modern fine art of Korea drifting without directions. And it is also meaningful to host a return home exhibition and collect all the works of the artist who had been abroad for 40 years.
