| Various kinds of Arrow Instruments | |
![]() |
Our ancestors made and used various auxiliary instruments to better their shooting of arrows. Chokdory, used when an arrowhead is in need of straightening, was made from antlers or horns of goats and many kinds of Kkagji(horn ring for the thumb) were used when pulling the bowstring. In addition to that, there were Seub and Wandae, which were used to tuck up the archer's robe. Also gloves were used to get a firm grip on the handle of a bow. They carried these instruments around on their side wrapped in a Salsugeon(cloth for polishing arrow). |
