Daesarye is an arrow shooting ritual, in which the King takes shots
together with royal clansmen and civil and military ministers in the
spirit of deeming highly of both civil and military services.
Daesaryedo is a picture of a Daesarye ritual held in an intercalary
month of August, the 19th year of King Yeongjo's reign.
The painter is unknown and a preface by Seo Jongok, who was then
a minister, is inserted in the painting.
