The pride and joy of the Opera Theater is the modern auditorium harmonized with 2,278 audience seats, the purple and golden colored-interior, and the classical house's hoof-styled stage. Raising up the purple-colored house-curtain decorated with an abstract picture, the Proscenium-arched stage is showed. In this stage, not only operas, musicals, modern creative musicals but also ballets are performed.
The Opera Theater can be switched fast the stages(main, side, rear stages), and has the advanced performance supporting-system, the advanced equipment, and the attached facilities. All these things help to make perfect performances. The Proscenium-arched stage of the Opera Theater makes possible the spectacular stage in perspective and a perfect switch of the huge-sized stage by the computer system in 3-4 minutes. For the harmony of the singer's and the instrument's sound, the sound system of the Opera Theater is setting up the reverberation time by 0.5 seconds. Also, the advanced lighting and sound equipment provide the performers and the designers with the best effect of stage.
In the back-stage spaces, there are 18 make-up rooms, rest rooms for performers, the workrooms, the warehouses. And 9-13 technical staffs in charge of stage-design, machinery, sound, lighting, and property, work for the performances' procedure.

The stage machinery system of the Opera Theater consists of the Over Head Machinery, the Under Stage Machinery and the Stage Safety System.
The following is the explanation of the main machinery system.

A. Under Stage Machinery(Stage Lift & Wagon System)

Orchestra Pit

* Be able to shift from stage level( 0) within -3.3m

* Shifting speed : 0.025m/sec (not allowed to change the speed)

* Type of shifting : Screw-Jack Type

* Seating capacity : 50-70 (by the instrumental organizations)

* Divided into two parts and able to operate separately

* Be able to transform into seats for guests by Seat Wagon(52 seats)

Main Stage Lift

* Main stage : consist of 3 lifts sized 18m(W) x 5m(D), total size - 270§³

* Be able to shift from stage level( 0) within 4.0m

* Shifting speed : 0.2m/sec (max.)

* Trap is installed (2m x 1m, worked by hand)

Side Stage Wagon

* Same of the main-stage lift size : 18m(W) x 5m(D)

* Shifting speed : 0.4m/sec (max.)

* Be able to operate in single or groups(2 or 3 )

Rear Stage Wagon with Turntable

* Size of rear-stage : 18m(W) x 15m(D) = 270§³

* Consist of Turn-table and Turn-ring : 10m & 14m in diameter

* Exclusive batten for installing the lighting equipment

* Usage : to arrest the noise from other stages (installed at each side & rear stages)

Safety Curtain

* In fire-emergency, to cut off between seats and stages for protecting the audience

In the Opera Theater, 2-4 lighting staffs per a performance work for design, operating installation of the lighting system. According to the works, the external staffs may be put additionally. The following is the list of the lighting equipment of the Opera Theater. The quantities may be changed.
